Visiting Visique Eye Site Optometrists

When you see your optometrists you are taking a very important step towards ensuring a lifetime of clear and comfortable vision.
When you first consult an optometrist you should expect to have a comprehensive eye examination as your optometrist will need to examine your eyes before deciding the next step because it is necessary to make a diagnosis before commencing treatment of any eye condition.
Eye examinations require no preparation on your part, are painless and take approximately 30 minutes. During an examination we will use a range of special equipment to measure your distance and near vision, the co-ordination of your eyes, eye movement, near focusing ability and most importantly your entire ocular health. Other tests are used to assess your colour vision, visual fields and eye pressure.
If your eye condition can be rectified by corrective lenses, we will explain when these should be used and advise the most suitable type of lenses for you. At Eye Site Optometrists you’ll receive friendly professional service and advice, ensuring you and your family have healthy sight for life.
